Arrive at Auli and check in at your hotel. Spend the day at your leisure, resting. You can even sightsee nearby. Have dinner and sleep early, so you have energy for an action-packed day.
Have an early breakfast and get to meet your skiing instructors. They are there to make sure that you understand the essentials of skiing that you are going to require during the training. On this day, you slide, slip, fall, and bump into trees, yet end up having a lot of fun. It's like learning to walk all over again. You also master some crucial sliding techniques on the snow. After an interesting session, you discover that you know the most from your falls.
This
day is more or less the same as Day 02. You receive instructions, and you try
to learn to balance on the skis. Due to all the training, you will now be able
to stand and balance on the skis and even apply brakes on your own. The initial
few circuits are frequently full of crash landings at the end of the slope and
are also marked by many falls.
This
is the day to put your experience to use and go ahead, literally, on a modest
incline. Perfect your parallel turns and snow plow turns. The snow plow is a
braking and turning skiing technique that novices are taught.
This
is your final day of skiing and now you may show-off all the talents gained
throughout the previous days. You are taken on an advanced slope which is
significantly longer than the previous slopes. A lot of speed is gained while
sliding on this hill. The teacher is with you throughout to guide and assist
you polish your ski runs. Once this is done, you are awarded with a certificate
of appreciation.
