  • DAY 2 : ARRIVAL IN MANALI (2050M)

Meet the Adventure Nation crew at the hotel that has been reserved when you arrive in Manali early in the morning. Be ready to join the introduction session led by our on-ground team after taking a short break. You can explore Manali on your own later in the day. Hadimba Temple, Vashisht Village, Mall Road, Old Manali Lane, and other locations are well-liked tourist destinations in Manali. You are free to travel to the locations of your choosing. Later, stay overnight and eat dinner at the hotel.

  • DAY 3: MANALI TO JISPA 140 KM (3200M)

Today, we will travel the renowned Manali-Leh Highway in the direction of Jispa. We must traverse the formidable Rohtang Pass (3978m) early in the day before it becomes too crowded, so leaving early is essential. Along the route, you will pass Keylong, Tandi (the final petrol station before Upshi), and the Atal tunnel. We continue our journey around the charming mountain towns of Sissu and Keylong in the direction of Jispa. Reach the location early in the evening and spend an exciting night in tents.

  • DAY 4: 90KM FROM JISPA TO SARCHU (4290M)

Since we will be spending the night at an elevation of above 4,000 meters, make sure you stay fully hydrated by drinking a tonne of water. Even though today's ride is one of the expedition's shorter rides, the adventure-filled terrain keeps the heart rate up. Continue traveling towards Deepak Tal on the Manali-Leh Highway after crossing Darcha. From here, the route begins to climb sharply in the direction of the perilous Baralacha Pass (4890m), passing by Zing Zing Bar and the breathtaking Suraj Tal emerald lake. Stop briefly after crossing Baralacha and enjoy a well-earned lunch close to Bharatpur. Although the topography changes significantly along the route, and the Tsarap River can be seen on the left side, chiselling and roaring through the mountains, we continue our journey to Sarchu along the same road. Expect a fairly difficult night's sleep when you arrive in Sarchu later in the day.

  • DAY 5: SARCHU TO LEH 250 KM (3500M

It's going to be a long but thrilling day of riding, so get on the road after an early breakfast. Early in the day is the best time to cross water crossings, which are frequently seen on the road leading to Leh. We begin our ascent towards Nakee La (4769m) shortly after departing Sarchu, traversing the zigzag Gata Loops, a set of 21 hairpin curves in a mere 7km. The ascent towards Lachung La (5059m), another high mountain, starts just as the descent from Nakee La is almost complete. We stopped for lunch in the village of Pang, which is 4600 meters below sea level, after descending from Lachung La. After passing Pang, the scenery begins to shift, and the 45-kilometer Morey Plains plateau begins. We begin rising the Tanglang La (5328m), the highest motorable pass on the Manali-Leh Highway, as we get closer to the end of the plains. Continue riding along the powerful Indus River on the left bank towards Leh after completing the third high mountain of the day. Arrive at Leh late at night and unwind at the hotel.

  • DAY 6: LEH TO NUBRA 160 KM (3048M)

Following a very leisurely day in Leh, we resume our journey and begin riding across what is regarded as the world's highest motorable road in the direction of Nubra Valley. Khardung La (5359m). Up until the checkpoint next to South Pullu, the road leading to the pass is well-tarred and paved. After passing the checkpoint, the road becomes slushy, with loose boulders on one side. Since it is unsafe to spend a lot of time on top of the pass due to the high altitude and thin air, have yourself photographed as soon as you get to Khardung La and get on the road. After descending from the pass, we make a brief lunch stop before continuing on our way. We stop briefly to see the 32-meter-tall Maitreya Buddha statue at Diskit Monastery after riding for a few more hours. The sight of the double-hump Bactrian camels grazing and the white sand dunes will greet us as we enter the valley. Spend the night at the campsite or motel.

  • DAY 7 : TURTUK EXCURSION

Since we will be spending the night at the same location, today will be rather laid back. Following breakfast, we will take a journey to Turtuk, a breathtakingly gorgeous location. Turtuk, which Pakistan claimed following the end of British control in 1947, was seized by India following the Indo-Pak War in 1971. The settlement was kept remote for many years because of its closeness to the border, and it wasn't until 2010 that it was accessible to travelers. Since then, many adventure travelers have been staying in the settlement, which is surrounded by the Karakoram mountains. Turtuk, which is located on the banks of the Shyok River, is a very green place in contrast to the region's arid scenery. We plan to cycle back to our Hunder lodging and spend one more night there after touring the area.

  • DAY 8 : NUBRA TO PANGONG 260 KM (4250M)

Following breakfast, we begin our journey to Pangong Lake, Ladakh's most photographed location. As we travel through Shyok on a much less-traveled road, the trip should be very intriguing even if we won't be crossing any high passes today. The majority of our journey will take us through the villages of Agham, Shyok, Durbuk, and Tangste, as well as along the stunning Shyok River. Being careful is crucial because the route is still slushy and has several thrilling water crossings and rough terrain. The final portion of the journey will be along the lake after crossing Durbuk. The lake makes a lasting impression on guests from the moment they first see it. Take a picture of yourself and simply take in the wonder of this glistening blue lake. Spend the night in tents.

  • DAY 9 : PANGONG TO LEH 150 KM (3500M)

Recommence your Ladakh adventure after waking up to a stunning dawn over Pangong Tso. We will follow the same route as yesterday, and after we cross Durbuk, we will begin our ascent of Chang La, the third-highest motorable pass in the world, which is 5360 meters high. Once we crossed Chang La, we stopped for lunch. Following our meal, we travel to Karu, where we begin our ride on the Manali-Leh Highway, which leads to Lah. We will travel by the well-known Druk White Lotus School and the Thiksey monastery just before arriving in Leh. A brief stop will be made to look around the monastery and snap some photos. We will reach Leh for the second time during the expedition after riding for about an hour. Spend the night.

  • DAY 10: LEH TO KARGIL 260 (2676M)

Due to the generally good state of the roads, the journey from Leh to Kargil takes comparatively less time. On the Leh-Srinagar Highway, we say goodbye to Leh and head towards Kargil along the powerful Indus River. All the way to Khalsi, we ride through a breathtaking moonscape, and the scenery is captivating. You can either continue following the Indus and cycle to Kargil via Batalik, or you can turn left at Khalsi and ride to Kargil via Lamayuru. We arrive in the second-largest town in Ladakh after riding through the day, i.e., Kargil. Take a hotel room for the night.

  • DAY 11: KARGIL TO SRINAGAR 200 KM (1585M)

Prepare yourself for one of the most amazing riding experiences as you awaken to the crisp Himalayan air. We leave our lodging and begin riding through Dras, considered the second coldest inhabited region on Earth, towards the Kashmir Valley. We stop briefly at the Dras War Memorial just before arriving in Dras. We begin our ascent towards Zoji La (3528m) after Dras, and the vistas from the summit are simply breathtaking. We enter the stunning Sonamarg valley, a popular tourist site, after traversing the pass. We ride across the valley for a few more hours before arriving at Srinagar. Spend the night in a hotel or houseboat.
