Welcome
arrival on Delhi Airport, Greetings from Delhi, India's capital and second-most
populated city. The city's significance stems from its rich and diverse
cultures, as well as its historical grandeur as the location of empires and
magnificent structures.
You will be picked up from Delhi Airport by a private vehicle and driven to the hotel to check in. You will have the evening to yourself. We will spend the night at the hotel in Delhi.
Following
a delectable breakfast, depart the hotel and travel to Chandigarh, also known
as "The City Beautiful." To Western tourists, Chandigarh may seem
strangely familiar, but to the rest of India, it may seem strange. It is also
known as the Gateway to the Himalayas since it is a beautiful place to stop and
rest before entering the Himalayas.
Arrive
in the afternoon in Chandigarh—Check-in Check in at the hotel. Wander outside
in the late afternoon to visit the renowned Rock Garden, a magnificent and
massive sculpture garden created by Nek Chand, a government official who
secretly founded the park in 1957 during his free time. It is made entirely of
household and commercial trash and discarded items.
Explore the charming Sukhna Lake, which is located in the Shivalik mountains' foothills, later. You can take in the beauty of nature and the refreshing breeze here. The Chandigarh hotel is where you will spend the night.
After
breakfast, leave the hotel and go to Manali, which is situated in the Beas
River Valley at 2,050 meters (6,726 feet). Amidst the snow-capped Pir Panjal
and Dhauladhar mountain ranges, Manali is one of India's most picturesque hill
stations. Manali has been endowed with breathtaking views, verdant forests,
expansive meadows, winding rivers, and an ever-present scent of pines and
freshness.
It
would take around seven or eight hours to get there, but the drive over the
Himalayas would be breathtaking. You will feel happier and more energised the
closer you get to Manali. The Beas River will run beside the route you are
travelling on. You will also pass by many farms and apple orchards along the
way. Arrive in Manali by nightfall. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and
unwind. You will have the evening to yourself.
We'll
have dinner and spend the night at the Manali hotel.
Go
exploring in Manali after breakfast. Begin by going to Vashisht. Situated right
next to the seas, this charming village is well-known for its sulphurous hot
springs and Vashisht temple. This spring's water is thought to have exceptional
healing properties, curing a variety of illnesses and skin conditions. Then
take a look at "HADIMBA TEMPLE," which was built in 1553 and has a
four-tiered pagoda roof that was cleverly created. It is famous for both the
jungle park where it is situated and its beautifully carved Gateway.
Visit
Old Manali after that. It feels like you have travelled to a different planet,
even though this charming little village is close to Manali, the main town.
This hippie land is an odd mix of foreigners and Indians. Old Manali has the
appearance of something from a vintage film. You sense spiritual energy all
around you, maybe due to the fresh air or water. Explore Mall Road, the town's
centre, later in the evening. This bustling business centre is lined by a
variety of hotels, eateries, and pubs, as well as a large number of stores and
emporiums. You may hang out and buy souvenirs and local goods. The hotel in
Manali is where we will have dinner and spend the night.
Check
out of the hotel after breakfast and take the Atal Tunnel to Jispa. It is the
longest tunnel above 10,000 feet (3,048 m) in the world, measuring 9.02
kilometres. Explore the Solang Valley en route. Adventure activities are not
the only thing that Solang has to offer. Solang Valley's enormous lawn slopes
contribute to its reputation as a well-liked winter ski destination. As soon as
you cross the Atal Tunnel and enter the Chandra River Valley, you will notice a
change in the landscape. The mountain slopes on the leeward side of the pass
become bare and brown, while the vegetation on the southern side disappears.
Numerous little streams of icy water from snow-capped mountains and glacier
melts are traversed along the path.
Arrive
in Jispa by nightfall. When you arrive at the camps, check in and unwind. Enjoy
your meal while taking in the night sky. You will be enthralled by the sight of
the billions of stars. There will be an overnight stay at the Jispa
campgrounds.
Leave
the camps early in the morning and make your way to Leh.
Arrive
at Leh by dusk. Welcome to Leh! Leh, surrounded by mountains, is one of the
most accessible, fascinating, and hassle-free destinations in India. The old
town, which is dotted with stupas and dilapidated mudbrick houses, is dominated
by a steep rocky ridge that is topped by a massive fort and palace in the
Tibetan style.
Check
in at the hotel when you arrive. You have the evening to yourself. We'll have
dinner and spend the night at the Leh hotel.
After
breakfast, go sightseeing in the area. Explore the 17th-century Leh Palace.
Beautiful views of the Ladakh mountain range and the mountain of Stok Kangri
can be seen from the palace's terrace. Next, take a tour of Shey Palace &
Monastery, which was founded in 1665 as the summer retreat of the King of
Ladakh (Deldon Namgyal). The massive copper-gold gilded statue of a seated
Shakyamuni Buddha is the Gompa's most famous feature. The second-largest Buddha
statue in Ladakh is thought to be this one.
Explore
Thiksey Monastery, one of the finest examples of Ladakhi architecture, after
that. This monastery is situated 20 kilometres from Leh on the summit of a
secluded hill. Its resemblance to the Potala Palace in Lhasa is what makes it
so remarkable. This monastery is well-known for its pilgrimage activities,
architectural features, exploration, and sightseeing.
Return to the hotel by dusk. We'll have dinner and spend the night at the hotel in Leh.
Proceed
to Leh for local sightseeing after breakfast. Begin by touring the Hall of
Fame, a museum created by the Indian Army to honour the valiant Indian soldiers
who lost their lives protecting the country during the Indo-Pak wars. It serves
as a reminder of the tremendous sacrifices our military has made to protect our
nation.
Next,
pay a visit to Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, a magnificent Sikh temple built in 1517
to honour the founding Guru of the Sikh religion, Guru Nanak Dev, who visited
the Ladakh region. Next, halt at Magnetic Hill, also known as "Cyclops
hill" or "gravity hill," which is close to Leh. An outstanding
optical illusion is produced by the location's architecture and the nearby
slopes. It's a downward road, the hill road. When cars and objects slip
downhill on a hill road, they may appear to be moving uphill against gravity.
Visit
Sangam, a picturesque location at the meeting point of the Zanskar and Indus
rivers, after that. Take a chance and raft the river. Explore Alchi Monastery,
which was constructed between 958 and 1055 CE, after that. The murals at the
monastery complex depict the artistic and spiritual aspects of Buddhism as well
as the Hindu kings of that era in Kashmir. The structure also has magnificent
wood carvings and artwork, almost baroque in design, as well as enormous Buddha
statues.
By
twilight, head back to Leh and stop by the Buddhist white-domed stupa known as
Shanti Stupa, which is located atop Chanspa Mountain. As a component of the
Peace Pagoda project, it was constructed in 1991 by Japanese Buddhist Bhikshu
Gyomyo Nakamura.
We'll have dinner and spend the night at the hotel in Leh.
After
breakfast, travel via the Khardung-La Pass (18380ft), one of the highest
motorable roads in the world, from Leh to Nubra Valley. Leh is about 159
kilometres away from the valley. Leh, Phyang, Khardung La, Khardung, Khalsar,
Diskit, and Nubra Valley will be the itinerary.
You
will pass two Indian Army checkpoints, South Pullu and North Pullu, which are
incredibly picturesque locations that showcase the splendour of nature, on your
journey before and after Khardungla Pass. During the journey, you will come
across some charming villages where you may see the locals at work on their
fields.
Arrive
in the early evening in Nubra Valley. For those seeking serenity and a chance
to interact with Ladakh's indigenous people, this valley is a pristine
destination. Northwest of the valley are the Sasser Pass and the fabled
Karakoram Pass, which link Nubra and Xinjiang (China) on the Silk Road.
Upon
arrival, check in at the hotel. The motel in Nubra Valley is where we will have
dinner and spend the night.
Explore
the Nubra Valley after breakfast. See the largest and oldest monastery still
standing in the Nubra Valley, Diskit Monastery. The 100-foot-tall statue of
Maitreya Buddha, which was revealed by the revered Dalai Lama, is the main
attraction of the Diskit monastery.
Visit
the Hunder dunes after that. Beyond the religious and cultural aspects of
Ladakh, the Nubra Valley is home to the breathtaking Hunder silver dunes.
Hunder Sand Dunes, which are 4,000 meters high, are breathtakingly beautiful.
The desert is sliced through by the breathtaking scenery and a calm meandering
creek. The Hunder Sand Dune is a veritable dreamland with its breathtaking
panorama set against the snow-capped mountains. Don't miss the chance to ride
the unique Bactrian Camel, also known as the double-humped camel. Explore
Panamic Hot Springs after that. Due to its high sulphur content, the hot spring
water is said to provide a number of therapeutic advantages.
By sundown, you ought to be back at the motel. We'll have dinner and spend the night at the Nubra Valley hotel.
Drive
to Pangong Lake from Nubra Valley after breakfast. The elevation of this
endorheic Himalayan lake is around 4,350 meters (14,270 feet). It connects
India and China and is 134 km (83 mi) long.
By
late afternoon, arrive to Pangong Lake. Arrive at the campgrounds or cottages,
which provide breathtaking views of Pangong Lake and the surrounding mountain
ranges. Its water is clearly salty and has a great blue tinge. When the sun is
shining brightly, it looks its best. You will have the evening to yourself. You
can go on a Yak safari or explore the lake's shoreline.
We will spend the night and dinner at the cottages and camps near Pangong Lake.
Drive
to Leh from Pangong Lake after breakfast. On the way, stop by Hemis Monastery,
which is acknowledged as Ladakh's biggest monastic establishment. The richest
Buddhist monastery in India, it is renowned for its extensive collection of
historical artefacts, which includes gold and silver stupas and a copper statue
of Buddha. In addition, the Monastery has several antiques, paintings, and
sacred Thangkas.
Arrive at Leh late at night and register at the hotel. You will have the evening to yourself. We'll have dinner and spend the night at the Leh hotel.
Get
out of the motel after breakfast. For your trip back to Delhi, your private
vehicle will transport you to the Leh airport.
Immerse yourself in the grandeur of luxury at our exquisite palaces, hotels, resorts and safaris.
